The Rangers plated two early runs to stake starter Yu Darvish to a quick lead
and the right-hander made it stand up, cruising to a 10-3 victory Thursday
night in Detroit to extend their winning streak to seven games in a rematch
of last year's ALCS.
Darvish went 6 1/3 innings and allowed one run on two hits. He walked five,
struck out five and threw 121 pitches. He is now 2-0 with a 3.57 ERA after
three starts.
