Shohei Ohtani is back. The Angels announced he will join them for in Detroit
on Tuesday. Ohtani said his timing has been right for a while now and has
talked about he feels like he has more power. Will be fun to see what he can
do when he is only focused on being a hitter.
Ohtani — who could be officially activated on Tuesday, depending on the team
’s assessment — had a 1.042 OPS over the final two months last season, when
he started to figure out the league and didn’t have to juggle two roles.
