The Boy and the Heron (2023).
Some have said that The
Boy and the Heron, which won the 2024
Academy Award for the best animated
feature film, feels like a farewell. Yet
Studio Ghibli's vice president Junichi
Nishioka is doubtful, saying Miyazaki will likely have a pencil in his hand
until the very end.
