庫爾圖瓦日前拒絕回應他今夏是否會離開切爾西的言論，他堅稱自己下個賽季會

庫爾圖瓦說：“我專注於為切爾西效力。我和球隊的合約將在明年夏天到期，我
會繼續留在這裡，我會盡自己最大的努力。”
“顯然我還沒有簽訂新的續約合同，但我覺得現在不是續約的合適時間。我覺得
賽季結束的時候再談論這件事情更好。我所能說的是我會專注於切爾西，也承諾會在
下賽季繼續尊重這份合同。”
被問到是否保證留隊，庫爾圖瓦表示：“我沒什麼可說的，當你的合約還剩下一
年的時候，人們自然而然會討論這件事情。我有點惱火，這會成為人們的話題點。”
“但我覺得專注於贏下聯賽的比賽，進入英超前四，在下賽季重返歐冠是很重要
的，當然還有足總盃。無論是作為一個團隊還是個人，這都是我們需要做的。”
Chelsea's only chance of silverware this term is the FA Cup after they
lost to Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday night. They take on
Leicester in the quarter-finals and Courtois is determined to avoid a
repeat of 2016 when they were knocked out of both competitions within the
space of a few days.
Courtois was in the side that were beaten by PSG in the last 16 of
Europe's premier club competition before losing at Everton in the last
eight of the FA Cup.
He added: "It is important that doesn't happen again and it is what the
manager (Antonio Conte) has said to us. We have to take the effort and
commitment we showed against Barcelona into the match on Sunday. If we
have that same level of commitment, we will win.
"I know Leicester are a difficult team to face, especially away from home.
We will do our best to win. The FA Cup is a great competition. We lost in
the final last year and we are hungry to go to Wembley again and do
something amazing."
Courtois has revealed he is not sure whether he will keep his place in
goal for the Leicester match or be replaced by Willy Caballero. The latter
has played in every round so far, while Courtois came under heavy
criticism for his display against Barcelona.
"I don't know if I will play or not because Willy has done great up till
now and it is up to the manager to see who starts," he said. "If I play I
will be ready and hungry to do my thing again. I don't think I have
anything to prove but I will try to give my best like I do in every game."
Chelsea are set to face a Leicester side who have striker Jamie Vardy and
winger Riyad Mahrez in fine form this season. Vardy has found the net 16
times, whereas Mahrez has 13 goals and 10 assists to his name.
The Blues were punished by Barcelona in midweek for making costly errors
at the back, but Courtois believes it won't be a factor in the Leicester
match.
When asked if Chelsea have to improve defensively to negate Leicester's
star duo, he said: "I don't think we defended badly in Barcelona - it was
just those individual moments. When we lose the ball like that we are
playing really open. But we will do our thing on Sunday. We are facing a
big team and have to be ready."
