日前，哈扎德在接受採訪時談到了他本人是否是英超最佳球員的問題，哈扎德這
樣說道：“有些人可能覺得進球多的就是踢得好，另一些人可能不這麼認為。現在一
切都好，無論我是不是最佳，我都不在意。”
“英超有很多頂級球星，阿圭羅就是其中之一，德布洛因受傷了但他也是最佳，
薩拉赫去年是最佳球員。還有我們隊的坎特，我們有很多優秀的球員。”
哈扎德還談到了他作為進攻球員屢屢遭到侵犯的事。
“這就是比賽的一部分，如果對方防守球員踢了你，他們是想努力贏回球。這很
公平。這就是足球。我認為裁判給了我足夠的保護，因為我在英格蘭已經踢了七年，
我已經習慣了，裁判會做決定的。我總是想著站起來，然後好好踢球。”
最後，哈扎德還談到了他在聯賽盃對利物浦時的進球。
“這球肯定能在我的進球榜單上排到前列。對阿森納的進球也不錯，三年前在安
菲爾德進的那個也很棒，所以很難說這個比其他那些都好。”
'Like I did against Huddersfield, like I did against Arsenal at the
beginning of the season - when you go on the pitch and you feel all of the
players are a bit tired and you are fresh, you need to produce something.
'To be fair I prefer to be on the pitch than the bench but in the team
it's not just one or two players, we have 25 players that can play every
week so when I am on the pitch I try to score or change the game.'
