Exclusive: Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss is considering a purchase of
ChelseaFC, as he reveals today in an interview @Blickch The owner and
Russian oligarch Roman Abramovitsch is afraid of sanctions and wants to
sell the club to Wyss, among others.

Hansjorg Wyss tells me in the interview: "I received an offer with three
other people on Tuesday to buy Chelsea from Abramovich. I can well imagine
joining Chelsea with partners." The price would be around 2 billion
pounds.

The Swiss billionaire will negotiate with a consortium in the coming days
with Abramovich. The outcome is open. Wyss says in the interview:
"Abramovich is currently demanding far too much."

Time is pressing, because Abramovich could soon be put on Great Britain's
sanction list. A sale would then probably be impossible. Wyss is looking
for further partners. Negotiations are taking place and the deal could be
done in the next few days.

Breaking: Hansjorg Wyss is now leaving Basel, Switzerland and heading back
to the United States where he lives. He seems confident that a deal could
get done, but stresses that it would take at least a week or two for his
American consortium to get all sorted out.
