Mauricio Pochettino believes Chelsea showed the mentality of a team moving in
the right direction in our 4-4 draw with Manchester City, believing it could
prove to be an important moment in the team's development.

Following on from the dramatic 4-1 win away at Tottenham on Monday evening,
it was another mature performance, but incredible game, as Chelsea came from
behind three times over the course of 90 minutes to draw 4-4 with Premier
League leaders Manchester City.

There was no doubting Mauricio Pochettino's pride at the way his players had
performed on the pitch at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as he reflected on the
match after the final whistle.

'I am very proud, so happy,' he said. 'The players deserve the praise because

Pochettino's reaction
'Of course there are always things to improve but it is a process. It is a
journey where we want to build a project from zero. This type of experience
and games are very important and will improve a lot our players and our team,
but now we need to use it and translate into the future.

Pochettino congratulates his players at the final whistle
The character we showed in refusing to give in while repeatedly fighting back
and equalising, especially after conceding in the 86th minute before
levelling the scores from the penalty spot in added time, was particularly
pleasing for our head coach. That feeling was only enhanced when considering
the quality of opposition we were facing.

admitted the drama of the last two matches has taken a toll.
