Dear Diary
Today is an ordinary day I suppose. I ususally sleep
until noon after tiring school days. No exception.
However, I woke up at ten this morning, which is
of course too early for me because I stayed up late last night.
Curiously, there is no need for me to crawl back to bed at all because
I felt energetic. Then, I swiped my smartphone, read news, and
suddenly noticed the 2018 NBA Playoffs are beginning today.
"Oh, it's April 15," I realized.
Around two years ago, Kobe Bryant played his last game in the NBA,
ending his career with a 60-point game.
I was hyped up in front of my computer,
but I felt numb at the same time.
'Cause I'll never see my childhood hero in the game any more.
Ever since then, I'm lukewarm about anything related to basketball.
I seldom watch games; I only check the box score instead.
