I used to trust people easily but my twenty-year
experience tell me not to.
I like to be independent 'cause I know if I rely heavily
on someone, I'll be disappointed once I am failed.
Of course, being so self-reliant as Emerson or Thoreau had
suggested- living alone ot growing your own food, isn't what I seek.
The English metaphysical poet, John Donne ever wrote
"No man is an island, entire of itself."
I can't agree with him more because gregariousness is part of
human nature, at least that's what I suppose.
However, sometimes I do feel individuals could find themselves
the only trustworthy person on earth.
Maybe, it's this extreme idea that makes me socially inept.
Whatever.
