I have been all night wondering what will happen next.
The picture at the left looks like the beach outside my window, but the painting is of Monterery.
The Beach at Monterery was painted in 1881.
I decided to do a painting of it for my show in the market next month.
After all, Monterery is not only a great place to paint it is also a great place to buy art work.
I got up very early and went out for a little outing by myself.
It was still dark and a little cool, so I decided I would paint the ocean instead.
The photos do not do it justice at all.
I forgot to turn on the flash and missed the sunrise, but I was very excited about the surf and the fog.
So, on my way home I stopped at this little place that opens very early and sells bread, french fries and crepes.
I was a little hungry by then.
I ordered a smoked salmon and tomato crepe, then I discovered that they were out of the crepes, so I ordered a sausage and egg crepe instead.
That wasn't too bad.
I like sausage and eggs as much as I like crepes.
I spent the rest of the morning catching up on work.
I was very impressed with my cold call this morning.
I only had one person call me.
After that I answered a few other questions and prepared the order forms and got them sent out to the purchasers.
It's amazing what you can do in a day's time when you stay on top of your paperwork.
I was so excited to hear the telephone ring that I had forgotten to tell Jim to turn on his cell phone!
