An Apology for My Previous Political Mistakes
I must apologise for my ignorance and naivety. Before March this year, I was
too naive, only realising the truth after delving into modern Chinese
history. Previously, I stated that perfect competition in economics benefits
consumers, and applying this logic to political parties seemed correct.
However, I overlooked a crucial premise: are these political parties backed
by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)?
We must not discount the possibility of these Chinese proxies. Allowing them
to participate is akin to inviting wolves into the house, a Trojan horse
leading to ruin. From the post-election actions of the Blue and White camps
serving China under the guise of parliamentary reform, causing chaos and
betraying Taiwan, it is evident that I made a grave mistake.
I was too naive, falling to see that I was placing my trust in China's
lackeys. Hence, I write this to issue a self-criticism and to remind all
Taiwanese people. Recognise this clearly: only the Democratic Progressive
Party (DPP) in Taiwan can be trusted; all others are untrustworthy.
Small parties are especially prone to being bought off. The Blue and White
camps are already taunted, and China will soon replace them with another
proxy to deceive us ince more. Therefore, vote for the DPP, as no other party
can resist China's tempations.
