As Game of Thrones nears it end, Emilia Clarke has reflected on both her
character Daenerys Targaryen's development and her own personal growth after
playing the Mother of Dragons.
In a lovely video interview with Deadline, the star said: "I was just happy
to be employed when I got this job. I didn't even know what IMDB was, I had
no idea what anything to do with this world was really like.
「我應徵這角色時，單純只是很開心有工作了，那時我連IMDB是什麼都搞不清楚
更不用說這個世界是怎麼運作的，這些我完全不懂。」
"It's been such an incredible journey to be with her, as she starts off so
timid, naive, scared and vulnerable – all the things I was!

容易受傷受驚嚇，就跟我一樣。」
"And then each season she transforms into a different person, each season she
grows and summons strength that is beyond my own, but has brought about a
resilience within myself. Getting to play her, standing on a mountain and
speaking to 700 supporting artists in a different language... you've got to
grow some balls."

Some people haven't been best pleased with Dany's latest character
development, with season 8's fifth episode being the worst-reviewed episode
of the show so far, and there's now a petition from fans asking HBO to (we
wish were joking) remake the entire season.
有些觀眾對於丹妮最近性格的轉變，不是那麼開心，
第八季第五集是目前為止評價最差的一集
目前也有粉絲請願重拍整個第八季。(不開玩笑)
We, however, would like to argue that Dany's drastic choice in the latest
episode has been building up for years.
但我們主張，丹妮這麼極端的行為，其實是過去幾年慢慢舖陳出來的。
