最近在複習學生時期的筆記(其實已經忘光了)
其中,寫到
I don't believe the words which he says.
=I don't believe what he says.
This is the place in which I met John.
=This is the place where I met John.
有些困擾很久的問題~
首先,
問題1.
為什麼the words which=what, in which=where
我的意思是...the words which 怎麼跟 what 做連結?
因為很難記, 過兩天就忘了!
常聽到老師說xxx=xxx 當時OS: 哇勒~~誰會知道兩個是相等的!
會不會哪一天又冒出另一個? XD
問題2.
在一般常用嗎?
我們一般會把原意翻成英文, 會刻意將xxx取代成xxxx嗎?
因為the words which換成what不是句子更看不懂嗎?
如果不是考題,句中突然寫what/where反而覺得很怪?>"<
關係代名詞反而看得懂.
可否請大大分享一下學這種文法的心得,及精神在哪?^^"

連結還蠻自然的; what 不必然是 the words whichbullshit 不也可以

中文也會追求字數比較少 但是又能完整表達的方式呀

應該是what=the thing which，the thing會在不同地方，可指不同的東西，若指說話內容，the thing 代表the words蠻合理的，但what文意理解上不需要再用關代來想，用what+直述句來想
