大家好~常常看到英文句子搞不清楚Ving到底是動名詞還是現在分詞??
不知道該怎麼分辨Ving是動名詞還是現在分詞??
不知道有沒有文法高手可以教我怎麼判斷?要不然我每次都想老半天
以下是多益的兩個句子不知道Ving的地方是現在分詞還動名詞?
1.The lowyer representing the citizens group challenged the state
government's attempt to lease the toll by demanding to know
the specific meaning of the word lease.
這個英文句子裡的by demanding的demanding是現在分詞還是動名詞??
2.The board of directors of KEC Development turned down the
plans for redesigning overseas plants because the landscaping
costs were far more than originally anticipated.
這個英文句子裡的for redesigning的redesigning是現在分詞還是動名詞?
常常搞不清楚Ving到底是現在分詞還是動名詞?不知道有沒有強者可以教導
應該要怎麼判斷句子裡的ving是現在分詞還是動名詞比較快知道??

介系詞後面的是動名詞 因為介系詞只能加名詞 所以遇到動詞改動名詞

如果只要知道上面兩個例子的話，比較簡單，都在介系詞後面，動名詞片語當介系詞的受詞。現在分詞沒有當名詞用的功能。
