想請問各位AZAR 4th advanced的P208這幾句:
1.When I was a child, I could climb to the roof of my house and [see] all
the other houses and streets.
[]用原形是因為有and表對等連接詞，前面could後面原V後面也要?
2.You can have a very good time as a tourist in my country. My country has
many different climates, so you had better plan ahead before you [come].
[]用原形是因為這句本來就是現在式的時態所以用現在簡單嗎? 還是因為had better
在前面的關係呢?
3.When you visit a big city in my country, you must pay attention to your
wallet when you are in a browded place because a thief [] try to steal it.
這句[]原本是給maybe，可是是錯的，是為什麼呢? 不是adv後可以接V嗎? 另外would
可以用在[]中嗎?

1.如果是改成could see會冒出很微妙的詮釋，很多人可能會讀成"我可以爬上屋頂，而且，我可以看到其他屋子和街道"3.因為maybe是sentence adverb如果是改成maybe a thief would try to steal it就通了(當然更省事的話就直接用may或might就好2.had better通常接著談某個未來或現在的時間點你該做的事情，後方用before接present tense很常見那個before說的事情通常會給聽話者一種"這件事很高機會會發生"的感覺像是cambridge字典上的這個例子:It’s five o’clock. I’d better go now beforethe traffic gets too bad.補充一下，關於maybe還有一點可以注意，就是maybe通常表達的是說話者自己也不太確定某某事情如何如何，它後方是可以接任何型態的句子的(這也是為什麼它在字典上被歸作sentence adverb這也是為什麼一開始那個句子不適合單獨用maybe的原因，因為你給的那個句子在談的是某個條件下才會成立的事情，如果你不用任何modal verb就接maybe會變成你像是在說某個事實發生了，但你不確定是不是這樣但這明顯不會是原本句子要說的事情(它明顯不是在說事實上可能有某個小偷如何如何
