So many of you have humbly said that your English is poor and yet, you have
all managed to express yourselves to some extent. Maybe you'd all consider
changing the word 'poor' to 'not too good'? :)
Besides, based on my experience, native speakers don't really know how to
respond to that comment and may not understand it the way the Chinese do.
One more note, one way to improve your English is to look words up so you
know if you're using them correctly. Do not assume that people will correct
you when they see mistakes. It's faster and more useful if you help yourself.
I wonder if someone would be interested in holding a gathering so we could
all get to really 'speak' and get to know each other in person?
Kudos to those who value the importance of English as a must-have skill.
