※ 引述《dosandonts (米粉般的女人)》之銘言:
: I have already had a B.A. but I would like
: to study another one(B.A.).
: However I am working for all day.
: I have no time to study for 2nd B.A.
: Should I drop out from school?
: I can deal with the handling process in May.
Whether you should continue your study or call it a halt depends on your
purpose of carrying out this academic pursuit. If the diploma of a law school
will help you in your field of work, then you'd better strive to attain
the degree. A degree, after all, is usually a must for most of the job
vacancies or promotion.
If you cannot keep a balance between your work and study, which may be the
major cause that propelled you to post such an article, then perhaps you
can consider applying for in-service programs, which usually offer courses at
night or during the weekend. Two factors, however, should be taken into considerations:
First, the tuition of in-service programs is much higher than that of full-time
bachelor's. Second, compared with a full-time bachelor's degree, the certificate
of an in-service program may not be that well-recognized.
If the degree does matter in your career, presumably you can ask for a study
leave or a temporary suspension of work while keeping your post. Several years'
investment on study may contribute a lot to your life.
It is hoped that you can persist in your dream. :)
