A. ACCOCIATE ANALYST-FINANCIAL SERVICES RATINGS 金融機構評級分析師
RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Analyzing pertinent information and data necessary for determining ratings on banks, securities brokers, insurance companies and their debt issues.
2. Making recommendations and presenting to rating committees.
3. Drafting press releases, company-specific reports, and industry commentaries in a fast-paced environment with publication deadlines.
4. Effectively communicating to clients Standard & Poor's methodology and procedures.
5. Continuous monitoring of operating performance of rated companies, including reviews of public filings and private information supplied by issuers, and participation in client meetings.
6. Meeting with issuers and investors on analytical matters and assisting in resolving clients' analytical needs.
7. Contributing to Standard & Poor's global and regional analytical sectoral forums, and authoring related commentaries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree, CFA charter holder or CPA is a plus
2. Minimum five years of relevant experience in an analytical or research position
3. A good understanding of financial markets, business environments and relevant regulations – in particular, on the banking or non-bank financial sector (finance companies, leasing companies, trust companies and other NBFI) or insurance sector in China
4. Ability to communicate, read and write in Mandarin fluently
5. Strong financial statement analysis skills and accounting knowledge
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
7. A demonstrated ability to give effective verbal presentations to senior executives
8. A highly motivated team player who can work autonomously in a global, multi-cultural and fast pace environment
9. Ability to undertake rigorous analytical work and be proficient at writing analytical reports in English
10. Have a strong proficiency with Excel and the ability to work with financial models, financial data, and financial statement analysis.
B. ASSOCIATE ANALYST-CORPORATE RATINGS 企業評級分析師
LOCATION: TAIPEI
RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Conduct credit analysis on corporate credits including new ratings and existing credits on annual/event-driven reviews;
2. Surveillance on corporate credits and market changes on a daily basis;
3. Preparing and presenting in the rating committees;
4. Periodically publish credit rating analysis reports, including media release, bulletin, research update, and full analysis;
5. Interact with investors, issuers, the media and others, as applicable, but also internally across our organization, conduct research and lead critical internal and cross-practice/cross-division projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master degree in Business or Accounting. CFA charter holder or CPA is a plus.
2. Minimum five years of relevant experience in financial service.
3. A good understanding of non-financial corporate business environments and relevant regulations. China experience is a plus.
4. Have a strong proficiency with Excel and the ability to work with financial models, financial data, and financial statement analysis.
