一個龐蒂浦老式賣場的老闆為了替英國JDRF研究糖尿病的機構募資，將頭髮藍染。
47歲的亞倫戴維斯，選了藍色，不為什麼，正是因為這是慈善的顏色。
英國JDRF實在是切中戴維斯的心─因為他43歲的太太尼可拉戴維斯12年前，
就被診斷得了一型的糖尿病。
參加了慈善企業主辦的大家一起來關注日，戴維斯先生說：我簡直嚇呆了，
他們真的全心全意的在治療糖尿病。
三個孩子的爸還說，從事了十年護理工作，他從未想過糖尿病可以這麼討厭。
戴維斯先生目前已經募款到了235英鎊，但他仍野心勃勃地想要更多。
A PONTYPOOL vintage shop owner has dyed his hair blue to raise money for JDRF
UK, who conduct research into diabetes.
Allun Davies, 47, chose the colour blue as it’s the corporate colour for the
charity.
JDRF UK is close to Mr Davies’ heart as his wife, Nicola Davies, 43 was
diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 12 years ago.
After attending an awareness day held by the charity, Mr Davies said: “I was
amazed at the work they’re doing, they really are doing their best to cure
diabetes.”
The father of three also explained that he had been a paramedic for 10 years
but had never realised how intrusive diabetes was.
Mr Davies has raised a total of ￡235 so far, but is ambitious to raise more.
