台灣新北市八仙樂園周六（6月27日）晚間發生爆炸大火，造成至少200人受傷。
新北市消防局一名發言人表示，八仙樂園當時舉辦彩色派對，舞台現場噴出各種彩色粉末，據信是彩色粉末造成粉塵爆炸引起大火。
新北消防局說，八仙樂園火警送醫人數228人，其中重傷96人，輕傷132人，創下新北市救災史上受傷人數最多的事件。
台灣《中央社》報道說，大約三分之二的傷患為嚴重燒傷，有些人遭到40%的燒傷。
報道說，位於新北市八里的八仙水上樂園周六晚上舉辦彩色派對活動，大量燃灼性不明的彩色粉末擴散在天空中。
當地時間晚上8:30左右，DJ正在台上帶動氣氛，台下穿著各式泳衣的遊客跟著音樂擺動起舞，現場彩色煙霧粉末彌漫，沒想到突然從舞台正前方竄出火光。
報道說，粉塵爆炸引發大火的時候大約有1,000多人在舞台現場。
報道引述現場目擊者說，大火瞬間就燒過來，舞台前遊客走避不及，現場很亂，不過大火來得快也去得快，很快就熄滅了。
新北市市長朱立倫晚間10點左右抵達現場，並表示要徹底調查起火原因，追究責任，八仙樂園立即關閉停業，等待調查真相。
BBC中文網台灣特約記者嚴思祺介紹說，新光醫院院長侯勝茂表示，許多人傷勢嚴重，醫院全力搶救中，不少人嚴重灼傷，可能有生命危險。
台灣總統府發言人陳以信表示，馬英九總統第一時間得知後，非常關心民眾安危，立即致電行政院長毛治國與新北市長朱立倫，指示全力救援並提供必要協助。
台灣衛福部長蔣丙煌表示，這是第一次在開放空間發生這種意外，未來將會研議加強管理娛樂用途的含有金屬彩色粉末。
