An irate and intoxicated woman has reportedly called police to complain about
the lack of marijuana available in a town on the West Australian south coast.
She told Esperance police on Friday that they had made it too hard to buy the
illegal drug around town, The Esperance Express reported.
據西澳地方新聞報導指出,澳洲西南部海岸一座名為Esperance的小鎮警方於上周五接獲
一名相當氣憤且帶著醉意的女士抱怨該小鎮大麻太難買。
“She was disgusted with what Esperance Police have done and would like us to
stop charging people for using or possessing cannabis,” Senior Sergeant
Richard Moore said.
“She sees the kids in her street daily searching for cannabis and not being
able to get it easily.”

警方指出該名女子在電話中抱怨當地警方對於大麻的強力作為使得大麻缺乏取得不易。
Snr Sgt Moore said the woman claimed the lack of marijuana was unfair on the
children and low-income families who regularly used the drug.
She told police that their tough-line stance on marijuana was “forcing”
people to use meth.
該女子更聲稱讓窮人與青少年買不到大麻可不是一件好事,這樣會迫使更多的人改去使用
冰毒。
Esperance police are continuing to run their “dob in a drug dealer”
community campaign.
而當地警方也表示會堅定立場,持續掃毒的行動。
