"For many of those affected,modern AIDS therapy had transformed HIV infection
from immediate threat to their lives into chronic disease.
However,the side effects of this therapy are often quite significant:
Patients may have symptoms such as nausea,diarrhea,pathological inflammation
of the nerves,headaches,sleeplessness and severe disturbance of fat
metabolism.
While those side effects are becoming increasingly easier to control,the
attendant psychological problems are often more difficult to manage.
The greatest strain on patients is the constant reminder that they have to live
with the disease in the form of the frequent nad regular taking of drugs.
In addition,there is the perpetual fear that the viruses in the body might
develop resistances to the drugs and the HIV infection might get out of
control."
除了提到目前可讓HIV變成慢性疾病,同時治療的副作用外,黃色字體部分更是關鍵:
病患必須時常且定期服藥,同時一直有個永久的恐懼存在,那就是病毒可能會逐漸
產生抗藥性並造成感染再度失控
連德國人的科普博物館都講明了HIV的治療目前仍舊有其極限無法根治,
更別說病毒抗藥性的隱憂,更從沒說過按時吃藥的病患就沒傳染性,
甲憑甚麼腦補自己得病了還很安全??
