這個問題很簡單，要是我我會這樣說
台灣跟沖繩一樣，在二次大戰之後是託管地。沖繩戰後由美國管理，台灣由中國管理。
但後來中國爆發內戰，共產黨贏了，國民黨輸了，國民黨把行李打包，跑來台灣，宣稱可
以代表中國，並在台灣停留60幾年。
目前為止，ROC仍是流亡政府，並且沒有台灣主權，台灣仍是一塊由流亡政府
管理的無主地。
翻成英文是這樣的：
Taiwan, like Okinawa, was a trust territory after world war II.
Okinawa was administered by the United States after the war,
and Taiwan by China.
But then China's civil war broke out, the Communists won,
the Nationalists lost and packed their bags, came to Taiwan,
claimed they still represent China
and stayed there
for more than 60 years.
So far, the ROC is a government-in-exile and has no sovereignty over Taiwan,
Taiwn is a landless territory run by the government-in-exile.
