衛報報導中點出造價1.06億歐元的台中美術館與高雄美術館只有1個小時的距離，而
台中那邊已經承認，雖然他們很有野心，但在開幕一段時間之後，需要很努力的賣票，
至於高雄美術館現在有這個能力吸引人潮，要如何透過定期性的藝文活動，來吸引有1600
個觀眾持續入場，而且台北造價更貴1.33億歐元的表演藝術中心也要開幕了。
