Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar announced the
establishment of the largest organ transplant center in the Middle East.
The center is founded at the Nasser Institute Hospital and provides
comprehensive medical care for patients before and after transplant
operations.
衛生和人口部長哈立德·阿卜杜勒·加法爾 (Khaled Abdel Ghaffar) 宣佈建立中東最大
的器官移植中心。

The statements came during Abdel Ghaffar's participation at the opening
activities of the fourth annual scientific conference of the National
Institute of Kidneys and Urology.

He praised the Egyptian medical system and the development it is witnessing,
especially in the field of kidney transplantation and improving the quality
of health care services for dialysis patients.

The Minister stressed that his country places at the top of its priorities
interest in the medical file, especially the file of organ transplantation,
and spreading community awareness of the importance of activating and
sustaining the organ transplantation system among citizens.
On his part, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Egyptian
Ministry of Health and Population, indicated that the conference represents a
platform for sharing in studying the development of advanced solutions and
perceptions that work to overcome the challenges and obstacles in this vital
file.
部長強調，他的國家將醫療專項，特別是器官移植專項的利益放在首位，並在公民中傳播
關於啟發和維持器官移植系統重要性的社區意識。

The Spokesperson pointed out that his country has 42 centers for
transplanting human organs, including 28 centers for the kidneys and 17
centers for the liver (3 joint centers), and 1193 kidney transplants were
performed in them during the year 2021, and 1078 kidney transplants were
performed during 2022.
發言人指出，埃及擁有42個人體器官移植中心，其中腎臟中心28個，肝臟中心17個（聯合
中心3個），2021年完成腎移植1193例，於 2022 年進行腎移植1078例。
He stated that over 10% of the world's population, with 800 million cases
until 2022, suffer from kidney disease, which makes it a health problem
worldwide.
The spokesperson pointed to the importance of communication and sharing
between the concerned partners, to work and activate the organ
transplantation law that was issued in 2010.
他 表示，到 2022 年，世界上超過 10% 的人口（即 8 億病例）患有腎臟疾病，這使其
