工人施工時，會喝保力達B嗎，酒精濃度達10%
如果他們是在工地喝保力達B，他會酒駕回家嗎
I see this stuff at nearly every construction site in Taiwan, and I have a
couple questions...
Here are my questions:
Do workers drink this stuff (which is 10% alcohol) while they are working?
As they seem to consume these at their work site, does this mean they drive
home under the influence?

Yeah, the building next to me recently got renovated. You would see piles of
bottles and cans inside while they were working. OP needs to understand that
these aren't your casual drinkers.

過去，保力達B是工人的「提神飲料」，他們拍廣告大力宣傳，這是藍領階級專屬的
再來是大家很常把它當作雞尾酒，跟汽水混在一起喝，因此覺得它酒精濃度不高
Back in days ,this is consider by the construction workers' to be "THE"
energy drink. (And with the never changing image built by it's commercial.
People still consider this as "working class man's energy booster")
(It also wouldn't help as people tend to drink this as an cocktail , mixed
with other soft drinks.....which could make people feel it's less alcohol
than it really is.)
再來是大家會有僥倖的心態，覺得自己「很幸運」，只喝一點點啦，沒關係啦
加上懲罰也「不嚴重」，會冒險賭一把
And we still got too many people who has fluke mind and "feel lucky" "only a
little , how bad can it be" ,while the lawful punishment being "not that bad"
, they just take the chance and gamble it.

So, there are no workplace safety rules that prohibit drinking on the job?
Seems that might be a little... hazardous.

有規定，工人總是會找到偷帶的方式
小蜜蜂流動攤販會有很多方法，避開工地經理的監督，甚至製作了假汽水，
偽裝成保力達B
由於工地繁忙、混亂且嘈雜.....有時他們無法監督到工地裡的所有工人。
而且，高層不會鼓勵告密者，反而會讓你的工作變更苦難，因為跟工人的關係變差了。
There certainly are......But workers would always found a way to sneak in
those things.(The "little bees" aka "small independent vendors who go around
sites and supplies packed food/drinks" had developed ways to by pass the site
manager/supervisor for along time. They even developed fake can of soda(which
is beer in disguise) and pre-mixed "drink" already.)
With sites being busy , messy and loudly.....Sometimes they just can't put a
eye every worker on site. (And being a snitch won't make management treat you
better , but would indeed make your job harder from other workers.)
