萬聖節在十月
十月是October 八爪章魚是Octopus
所以十月又稱為章魚月
oct這個字首是拉丁文8的意思 章魚8隻腳 所以叫octopus
在西元2000年前
原本october就是8月 september原本是7月
但是偉大的羅馬皇帝凱薩（全名Julius Caesar）死掉之後
有將軍認為因為凱薩實在太偉大了
所以凱薩的名字應該有資格作為月份的稱呼
所以就將凱薩出生的月份7月改名為Julius（即英文July)
後來接任凱薩的皇帝屋大維 看見凱薩名字可以當做月份 也跟著照做
因為他受封奧古斯都大帝（Augustus）
所以July的下一個月份就改成Augustus（即英文August）
這麼一來原本的7月september 8月october就只好往後面排變成9月和10月了
就好像去吃爭鮮迴轉壽司 你前面的人拿了第一盤 你就只能拿第二盤
