柯P「破銅爛鐵」說 英交通部長：很抱歉

〔記者曹伯晏／台北報導〕英國交通部長克拉瑪爵士（Baroness Kramer）上午拜訪台北
市長柯文哲，並送給柯文哲一隻上議院懷錶，對此柯P笑稱，要把錶拿去轉送，或是賣給
「破銅爛鐵」的賣錢，此說引起爭議，還引發「送鐘錶」於習俗是否相符的話題；對此，
克拉瑪下午表示，很抱歉，之前「完全不知道這樣一個禮物，會造成其它非正面的看法。
」
英國駐台官員下午轉述克拉瑪說法；克拉瑪說，「我很抱歉，我們每天都學到新的知識」
，之前完全不知道這樣一個禮物會有其它非正面的看法。
克拉瑪表示，在英國，一個懷錶禮物是「珍貴的」，因為我們都知道「時間有多重要」，
且這份禮物來自於英國上議院，必須為「議員身分」才可取得，是一份特殊的物品。
不過，克拉瑪仍表示，很榮幸此次能與柯市長會面，期待與他及他的市府團隊能有更多的
交流及合作。
克拉瑪針對送禮給柯文哲後報導的回應（原文）：
“I’m sorry. We learn something new each day. I had no idea a gift like this
could be seen as anything other than positive: In the UK a watch is precious
- because nothing is more important than time.
The gift came from the House of Lords – which is only accessible to members
of the UK’s upper parliament. It is a very unique item.
It was a huge honour to meet Mayor Ko. We look forward to working with him
and his team in Taipei.”
