Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said:
“Simon Cheng was a valued member of our team. We were shocked and appalled by
the mistreatment he suffered while in Chinese detention, which amounts to tor
ture.
英國外相Dominic Raab表示：
鄭文傑先前是我們團隊一位重要成員，對他先前在中國被拘禁期間所遭受到跟如同折磨般
的虐待，我們感到震驚且駭人聽聞。
I summoned the Chinese Ambassador to express our outrage at the brutal and dis
graceful treatment of Simon in violation of China’s international obligations
. I have made clear we expect the Chinese authorities to investigate and hold
those responsible to account.
我召見了中國大使並表達我們對鄭文傑所遭受到殘忍、屈辱對待之憤怒，而中國也違背了
在國際上的責任。我清楚的表達我們期待中國當局進行調查，並將相關人員抓起來給交代
。
The FCO is working to support Simon and his fiance, including to come to the
UK.”
英國目前正在為鄭文傑及其未婚妻提供包括前來英國在內之協助。
