給大家看看JECFA當年討論Ractopamine的文件，裡面有提到牛隻的殘留狀況：

The length of time required for radioactive residues to reach steady state
was determined in groups of three cattle receiving [14C]ractopamine at 1.01
mg/kg bw per day for 4,7, and 10 days via rumen fistula. The concentrations
of 14C-labelled residue were determined in liver, kidney, muscle, and fat 12
h after the last dose. No detectable residues were measured in the muscle or
fat........ (Dalidowicz & Thomson, 1988).
簡單說，他們用碳14標定法餵牛吃含碳14的Ractopamine，停藥12小時後，牛肌肉跟脂肪
內就測不到碳14活性，即未檢出Ractopamine
所以店家公布未檢出的SGS文件，並不能證明他們的牛肉在飼養過程中沒有使用萊劑，
只能證明這批牛肉的Ractopamine含量<1ppb，符合10ppb的國際標準。至於現在進口
的美牛到底有多少是飼育過程中未使用Ractopamine，只能看美國市調了
