Slavs的語源是來自於原初印歐語的k'le'wos(原本的字母打不出來用代替的） - glory或
word或people
但同樣改變不了在英美語言學家眼裡
Slave的語源就是跟Slavs脫不了關係
頂多只能說 Slavs的語源來自於其他字
但是英語當中slave的語源照樣來自Slavs 這是不會變的！
甚至哈珀語源字典也沒否認Slavs跟words有關係
