國台辦說了中國的立場，另一方美國沒有表態，但可以透過美國官媒VOA在羈押那幾天的報導來探查一下美國的看法：

美國官方的立場就是中國官方立場的對面。中國說台灣政治迫害，相反地，美國官媒強調台灣有獨立的法制系統，蓬勃的民主制度，而藍白口中的司法迫害還被加了一個單字unsupported未經證實。之前報導說AIT有聯繫溝通民眾黨，我倒很想聽聽，AIT是不是在提醒民眾黨什麼。
