acquisition, Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said it’s not fair to expect Linsanity
2.0. But he did say the 27-year-old point guard will make Brooklyn’s best

Lopez is the team’s unquestioned star, and he was fourth in the NBA in points
scored as the roll man in the pick-and-roll (315). But his efficiency didn’t
measure up to his volume. He was just 95th in shooting percentage (.491) and an
even-worse 109th in points-per-possession (0.99). Lin can help him improve both.

Brook is a great passer. [Lopez] was the sell to him: ‘You’re going to have
a partner. You guys at the end of the games are going to have to make plays out
of the pick-and-roll.’

create his own. Hopefully we can make it easier for him and therefore make him
more efficient.”
