Rangers designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero and Braves pitcher Tim Hudson
were named baseball's comeback players of the year on Monday.
Guerrero played in only 100 games for the Angels in 2009 due to injury. He
signed as a free agent with the Rangers in the offseason and bounced back by
batting .300 with 29 home runs and 115 RBIs.
Hudson underwent Tommy John surgery in August 2008 and made only seven starts
at the end of 2009. He rebounded this year with a 17-9 record with a 2.83 ERA.
