David Ortiz: 'I guarantee (Vladimir Guerrero) will go back and play for Texas

David Ortiz, the powerful hitter who has graced the middle of the Boston Red
Sox lineup since 2003, spoke with ESPNBoston.com on Tuesday.
And while Ortiz spoke mostly about the Red Sox picking up his $12.5 million
option on Nov. 4, he also had a guarantee that involved the future of the
Rangers.
Ortiz said that fellow designated hitter, Vladimir Guerrero, will remain in a
Texas uniform.
"This is not the end of the relationship between them," Ortiz said. "I
guarantee he will go back and play for Texas and get good money. You can put
that down right now.
