According to a report from Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com, the Toronto
Blue Jays have acquired Mike Napoli from the Los Angeles Angels. The
deal is pending physicals for the players involved.
Napoli, 29, hit a team-high 26 homers in 510 plate appearances with the
Angels last season. He played catcher, first baseman and DH for the club.
No word yet as to whom the Jays will be sending west in return for Napoli's
rights.
