After Tuesday night’s slippery game, Collins confirmed the Mets had sent an
email to the Commissioner’s office complaining of the unusual wet conditions
of the Turner Field playing surface. “It was wet, Jose slipped three times,”
Collins stated before last night’s game. “It was too wet. We did what we
were supposed to. We sent something in I guess which said the field was
overly wet and I don’t know what they are going to do.” To read more on team
