Dodgers, Gwynn agree to two-year, $2M deal
Dodgers and OF Tony Gwynn, Jr. avoided arbitration by agreeing to a two-year,
$2 million contract.
Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports that he'll earn $850,000 in
2012 and $1.15 million in 2013. Gwynn, 29, was very useful as a fourth
outfielder this past season, batting .256/.308/.353 with two homers, 22 RBI,
22 stolen bases and a .660 OPS over 340 plate appearances while playing
excellent defense. The new contract covers his remaining arbitration years.
2M/2y 似乎挺便宜的防守球員@@"?
