當時在二壘的Chipper Jones在與游擊手Tulowitzki閒聊時
Moyer轉過頭來指控Jones偷暗號，說：「I see you (stealing signs).」
Jones老大對於這般的指控感到很驚訝
「很震驚，我一時沒辦法理解他是在指什麼，後來了解他的意思後就嗆了回去，
不過他也沒轉過頭來了。」Jones說。
「我打擊時不需要給我什麼暗號，在二壘時也沒偷過什麼暗號，從來沒有。」
Moyer賽後拒絕評論，但Jones還是很不高興
