Dave Roberts to manage Dodgers
The Los Angeles Dodgers have hired former player Dave Roberts to replace Don
Mattingly as the team's manager, according to multiple reports.
The hiring was first reported by the Los Angeles Times.
Roberts, 43, played 10 years in the major leagues for the Cleveland Indians,
Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants. He stole
243 bases in the regular season and played in the postseason four times.
He was the Padres' bench coach the past two seasons and managed one game in
