A's are calling Parker's injury a lateral elbow impingement.
Jarrod Parker's latest injury is being called a lateral right elbow
impingement. But he'll have to undergo a range of tests before the A's can
offer a full diagnosis. Parker ended his first live batting practice session of
the spring in immense pain on Thursday after throwing only a handful of
pitches. He obviously won't be ready for the start of the 2016 season, though
that was never an expectation in the first place. Parker hasn't appeared in a
major league game since 2013.
