Bucs, Rivero reportedly agree to 4-year deal
The Pirates and closer Felipe Rivero have agreed to terms on a four-year deal
with two additional club options, according to a report from MLB Network
insider Ken Rosenthal. The club has not confirmed the deal.
The contract is worth $22 million in total with each club option costing $10
million, according to Rosenthal. Since Rivero is a Super Two player, this
deal will cover all four of his arbitration years, with the options
potentially covering his first two free-agent years.
