Format - Duo Standard
選手要繳交兩套標準牌組，想用同一套打也行，一局打完後沒有備牌(可以自由繳交備牌)
Game 1:盲選一套，先後手隨機
Game 2:需使用Game 1沒用到的另一套牌組，G1後手方先手
(if) Game 3:兩套隨選，先後手隨機
前陣子看高端實況準備時，都在開玩笑說到時要一直拜骰到先手
但其實以MTGA BO1的生態來說，這也是不爭的事實

昨天官方突然公布個很令人震驚的消息，MPL成員/名人堂選手Owen Turtenwald退賽
由先前退休的官方轉播人員Brian David-Marshall遞補其名額，沒有公開原因
分組 - 16人一組(MPL + 挑戰者各8人)，共四組，每組雙敗淘汰取前4晉級16強
