Had a quiet first-half but was alert to deny Fernandes at the death and
preserve United's 1-0 half-time lead.
Antonio Valencia - 6
Did more attacking than defending and offered United natural width but his
delivery from spacious areas was maddening.
Phil Jones - 7
Defended firmly against Javier Hernandez and was very vocal guiding the
struggling Daley Blind to his left.
Eric Bailly - 7
Secure again and continues his superb pre-season form after missing the Super
Cup in midweek through suspension.

Fortunate to start after a poor pre-season and his display against West Ham
reiterated United's need to reinforce the left flank.
Nemanja Matic - 8 (被打臉得好開心啊!!!
Almost always passed the ball forwards and sparked the attack from which
Romelu Lukaku scored. An outstanding domestic debut.
Paul Pogba - 8
Did not allow the absence of a third midfielder to hamper him. Produced
crowdpleasing moments and scored superbly.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan - 7
Linked up well with United's forwards and played Juan Mata through for their
first real opening. Provided a great cross for Lukaku's second.
Juan Mata - 7
His creativity enhanced United's attack even if it was at the expense of
width. Mata's movement troubled West Ham throughout.
Marcus Rashford - 6 (如果finishing技能點滿...不得了啊!!!
Was toiling until he latched onto Matic's block and decisively passed for
Lukaku. Finished wastefully early in the second-half but unlucky to hit post.
Romelu Lukaku - 8 (超值!!!!!
Finished emphatically to break the deadlock. His mobility was a welcome
addition to a forward line which was occasionally hampered by the static
Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
