Looked very nervous especially when confronted with an aerial threat and made
a succession of niggly fouls.
Matteo Darmian - 4
Did not offer an attacking threat and was shaky in defence. Best moment of
the game counted for nothing due to the offside flag.

You would not know how little football he has played this season. A calm and
composed presence who passed the ball well.

Scored the crucial second goal by finishing a rapid counterattack. Pressed
well.
Scott McTominay - 5
Gave the ball away too often and looked unsure of his tactical role in the
first half. Grew into the game once United were ahead and got forward more.

Did not provide enough creativity against a League Two side but held the ball
up brilliantly to facilitate the counter attack for the second goal. Subbed
after 65 minutes.

Booed relentlessly but did not looked fazed. Constantly asked for the ball,
always looking to create and fittingly chalked up two assists on his debut.

Isolated for most of the first half but scored. Featured on both flanks after
