Paul Pogba brainless but Marcus Rashford excellent
Man Utd and Southampton played out a comical half of football in their
Premier League fixture that Marcus Rashford dominated.
David de Gea - 6 (同意 找不到好的中衛DDG留在這裡根本浪費才能....
Could do nothing about the goals. Perhaps Jorge Mendes could insist on a
'sign centre-backs' clause as part of De Gea's protracted contract
negotiations.
Ashley Young - 5
Provided width in attack and the odd decent delivery but not at his most
effective. Kept going and displayed determination.
Phil Jones - 6
The stop-gaps either side of him were supposed to provide help but Jones was
helpless as Southampton pummelled United's soft centre.
Scott McTominay - 3 (特別的變陣看來是毫無效果
For the third game running with the Scot starting, United sieved two
first-half goals. Out of his depth at this level but shouldn't be selected in
defence.
Nemanja Matic - 3 (今年如果不是有傷在身那我真的不知道退步是什麼原因...
He was oblivious for Ilkay Gundogan's derby clincher and was exactly that
again as Stuart Armstrong opened the scoring. Static, immobile and
pedestrian.
Luke Shaw - 6
Maybe the only one from the start who did not seem fazed by playing
relegation fodder. Not enough at United have Shaw's quality and empathy.
Marouane Fellaini - 4
Now he is being over-used, United are encountering the drawbacks. Fellaini,
deployed deep, was too cumbersome to counter Southampton.
Paul Pogba - 2 (Brainless XDDDDDDDDDDDD
When United needed someone to grab the game by the lapels Pogba was the
obvious go-to man. Alas, he was in feckless mode again. Brainless.
Ander Herrera - 7
Flagged in the first half-an-hour and was in headless chicken mode before he
reiterated his attacking credentials with a perceptive run and fine flick.
Romelu Lukaku - 6 (今天唯一利多就是結束進球乾旱期....
His general play was stodgy again but Lukaku ended a 982-minute United
drought to get them back into the game.
Marcus Rashford - 8 (今天這兩球還真的傳得不錯!!!
Fashioned two goals out of nothing on a day where the Kylian Mbappe
comparison was acceptable. Rashford used the brain and heart Mourinho
demanded.
