Mason Greenwood and Amad good vs Leicester
Man United lost for the fifth time in the Premier League at Old Trafford this
season to Leicester and here are how the players rated at Old Trafford.
David de Gea - 6
Powerless to prevent Luke Thomas' volley but saved well from Kelechi Iheanacho.
Let down by defenders at the corner.
Brandon Williams - 4 (本季第一次先發
First league start of the season and it showed. Lacked rhythm and is not as
effective on the right as he is on the left.
Eric Bailly - 5
Engaged in a watchable duel with Jamie Vardy but typically reckless and never
truly had the measure of the Leicester striker.
Axel Tuanzebe - 6
Had an edgy start but recovered well and was more composed in dealing with
Vardy. Best of the back four.
Alex Telles - 4
Targeted from the off by Leicester and became a danger to his own side. His
attacking assets were missing, too.
Nemanja Matic - 5
Shielded a porous back four impressively in the first-half but was outjumped by
Caglar Soyuncu for Leicester's second.
Donny van de Beek - 4
Struggled again. Barely demonstrated the pedigree that convinced United to sign
him.
Juan Mata - 5
Tidy at times and was often the glue that held the attack together without
offering any remote threat. Could easily have come off.
Amad - 7 (聯賽首發!!
Seized on Thomas' mistake to assist Mason Greenwood and was a useful outlet in
attack. An encouraging full debut.
Anthony Elanga - 5 (曼聯初登場!!!
Energetic on his United debut but not quite ready for a game of such intensity.
Made way for Marcus Rashford in the 65th minute.
Mason Greenwood - 8
Claimed another great goal that encapsulates the potential greatness of
Greenwood. Sensibly removed just after the hour.
Subs
Marcus Rashford - 4
Came on and immediately let Soyuncu go to score from the corner.
Edinson Cavani - 6
Offered presence in attack to offset Greenwood's removal.
Bruno Fernandes - 5
Brought on when United were chasing the game.
Manager - 5 (大輪替
Few expected 10 changes and certain personnel suggested Solskjaer would be
sanguine in defeat. Making subsitutions before a set-pieces was amateurish and
Leicester scored.
