Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has no sympathy for the 3-9 Los Angeles
Lakers, saying on a radio show recently that he hopes they "suck forever."
達拉斯小牛的老闆對開季只有3勝9敗的洛杉磯湖人毫無同情之心，最近

Los Angeles can further support its star's theory Friday night in Dallas by
winning a third straight and ending the Mavericks' five-game winning streak.

The Lakers lost nine of its first 10 with Bryant shouldering much of the load
offensively, but he's gotten some help over the last two. Bryant had 28
points in Tuesday's 114-109 win in Atlanta before scoring 29 the following
night in a 98-92 victory at Houston.

The return of Nick Young could be the spark the Lakers needed. Young, who
missed the first 10 games because of thumb surgery after re-signing for four
years and $21.3 million in the offseason, came off the bench to score 17
against the Hawks and 16 versus the Rockets.

"It makes it tough for a defender," Young said. "They can't just focus on

thing."

Jordan Hill posted his fourth consecutive double-double Wednesday and Carlos
Boozer notched his second straight after having none during the 1-9 start.

Bryant still attempted 28 shots against Houston, marking the fifth time he's
taken at least that many this season. LeBron James and Jeff Green have done
so once apiece, the only other two in the NBA to attempt that many shots
entering Thursday's action.
昨天Kobe依然出手了28次，這是他本季第五次至少出手28次了，在整個聯盟

Young joked he has been the missing piece for the Lakers, but Bryant sure
would appreciate if the turnaround continued no matter the reason.

"Listen, if that's what's rolling, that's what's rolling," Bryant said of
Young's comments. "I'll take it."

Dallas has been even better lately, winning four straight by an average of
25.5 points before holding on for a 105-102 win at Washington on Wednesday.
Monta Ellis scored 24 of his 34 points in the first half to get the Mavericks
(9-3) going early.
不過小牛最近的表現更好許多，最近拿下了五連勝，前四場比賽甚至平均贏
了25.5分，昨天他們以105-102在客場打敗華盛頓巫師。Monta Ellis在上半

Dirk Nowitzki, as he's done so many times in his career, was big down the
stretch. He sprained his ankle in the fourth quarter, then returned to a hit
a clutch 3-pointer with just over a minute left.
Dirk Nowitzki一如往常的在比賽末段有關鍵演出，他在第四節一度扭傷腳
踝，不過他在回到場上之後，在比賽最後一分鐘時投進關鍵的三分球。
"It was a close game, so if I can walk, I want to be out there. And it
actually felt OK, once it loosened up," Nowitzki said.

Nowitzki had a season-low 13 points for the second straight game and went 4
of 12 from the field, but he hit 3 of 4 from long range. He expects to play
in this contest.

他投4中3，明天他預計能夠上場。
"I wasn't shocked when he came back," coach Rick Carlisle said. "He's a
game-changer and one of the best in history. And even though he didn't have a
great game shooting the ball or scoring, his ability to make timely plays and
to change the dimensions of the court showed what his impact is."
小牛教練Rick Carlisle說："我對Dirk在比賽末段歸隊並不意外，他是史上

The Mavericks swept last season's three-game series with the Lakers, with
Nowitzki scoring 27 points in each of the last two.

Bryant missed each contest recovering from a left Achilles' tendon tear after
playing only six games last season. The Lakers have won seven of the last
eight meetings in which Bryant has played.
Kobe上季則是因為左腳的阿基里斯腱撕裂傷勢只打了6場比賽，所以去年沒有
與小牛交手的紀錄，不過湖人在最近八次Kobe在陣時，對上小牛拿下了七勝。
