Caleb Martin reportedly declined an extension from the Heat earlier in the
offseason and was said to be seeking $15 million annually, per
@flasportsbuzz
Miami is no longer able to offer that contract, and Martin has yet to find an
offer similar to Miami's previous offer.

People around the league believe that a Caleb Martin for DeMar DeRozan double
sign-and-trade is something to monitor
“DeMar DeRozan is arguably the biggest piece still on the board. There’s
definitely been some talk of potential double sign and trade of him to Miami
and Caleb Martin back to Chicago. I have not gotten that confirmed as a
serious thing that’s being discussed, but people in the league have
definitely talked about it.”
