蘋果在最新一代智慧手機 iPhone 6 及 iPhone 6 Plus上使用了更纖薄設計的同時，更加
大了電池容量，讓手機續航時間更多，不過對於用戶無限大的要求中，新 iPhone 的電池
使用時間還遠遠不足夠，更有用戶表示不需要 iPhone 更薄，只需加大電量就夠了，面對
這問題，蘋果的設計師 Jony Ive 亦有以下回應。
蘋果設計師 Jony Ive 在接受《金融時報》採訪時解釋為何 iPhone 6 不使用更大電池設
計，Jony 認為 iPhone 的設計越輕薄，用戶使用 iPhone 的時間就會增加，因此電力使
用量就會增大，但如果使用更大的電池，手機就會變得更厚，減少了用戶使用的意欲
即是說，蘋果在設計 iPhone 6 時，因為要做到在最薄的設計中有最大的電池續航時間，
已經在手機的厚度及電池大小上作最佳的平衡了

蘋果從iPhone 4開始就非常注重手機的輕薄，
一直到iPhone 6為止都在輕薄戰爭中維持了領先的成績．
這也難怪iPhone會面積變大了，因為厚度不能增加，
如果變得更薄，用戶的使用時間就會增加，
電池的大小就只好從變大的面積去補了，
原來輕薄的意義在蘋果的觀點來看這麼的重大，難怪廠商們得拼命的也要競薄阿
